Target Achieved in Farrukhabad Special Employment Generation Day
Farrukhabad district has successfully achieved its target of 29,000 man-days during the special employment generation day observance. This special campaign, conducted under the 'BBG Ramji Yojana', aimed to provide regular employment to laborers in rural areas, observing significant progress in village councils across various development blocks.
Campaign Progress and Oversight
In the village council of Barai, Shamsabad development block, Panchayat Secretary Dilip Kumar shared detailed information on worker participation and the campaign's success. To ensure effective monitoring of the entire program, the government had designated two senior officials as nodal officers who inspected the on-ground activities.
Intensive Inspection and Progress Review
Project Director and Deputy Commissioner of Labor Employment conducted an intensive inspection of development blocks, visiting the village councils of Kundan Ganeshpur, Sitauli, Tajpur, and Ahimalpur in the Kamalgaj development block. They closely examined ongoing development work, assessing its quality and progress.
Similarly, the District Development Officer and Deputy Commissioner for Self-Employment thoroughly evaluated the campaign's activities in the village councils of Dabri, Bilalpur, Trikuta, Gandhi, Ujramau, and Nayagaon in the Rajepur development block. The objective of these inspections was to ensure that laborers were receiving the scheme's benefits smoothly and that development work adhered to prescribed standards.
Coordination Drives Target Achievement
The District Magistrate had issued strict instructions to all Block Development Officers to complete the man-day targets in a time-bound manner. The Chief Development Officer continuously monitored compliance with these directives. The successful and timely achievement of the district's set target is attributed to the coordination among officials and the concrete efforts made at the village council level.
This campaign has not only strengthened the rural economy but also created significant local employment opportunities. Preparations are underway to provide continuous work to laborers through similar schemes in the future, thereby solidifying livelihood sources in rural areas.
