Suspicious Death Reported in Farrukhabad

Amit Kumar Mishra, 36, a resident of Salempur in Farrukhabad, passed away under suspicious circumstances this morning, October 6, 2026. His family rushed him to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia District Hospital around 8:55 AM, where he was declared dead by attending physicians after an examination.

The hospital administration has placed the body in the mortuary and informed the local police. The deceased was employed in the court system.

Family Levels Murder Allegations

The victim's brother, Alok Mishra, made serious accusations, stating that Amit was attacked by three individuals approximately ten days prior while returning home from duty. He recounted that the attack was planned, and although Amit managed to escape home, his motorcycle was damaged in the altercation.

Questions Raised Over Police Inaction

Alok Mishra voiced his concerns about the police's response, stating that a formal complaint was submitted to the Raje Pur police station immediately after the incident. However, he claims no effective action was taken by the police. This alleged negligence has caused significant outrage within the family.

Amit Mishra is survived by his wife, Roli Mishra, two daughters, Anvi and Ashi, his mother, Rama Mishra, and two brothers. The family is now questioning the police's investigative procedures and demanding justice.

The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are awaiting the post-mortem report to proceed with further action.
