Eight Trains Temporarily Cancelled at Guramkhedi Station Due to Works
Eight passenger trains will have their stops at Guramkhedi station temporarily cancelled from July 24-30, 2026, for infrastructure upgrades.

Infrastructure Modernization at Guramkhedi Station
The West Central Railway's Jabalpur Division is undertaking significant work at Guramkhedi Railway Station to modernize its rail infrastructure and enhance operational capacity. This initiative requires traffic and power blocks.
As a result, the halt of eight passenger trains at Guramkhedi station will be temporarily suspended for seven days, from July 24, 2026, to July 30, 2026. This decision aims to ensure passenger safety and improve rail operations.
Impact on Train Services
The trains affected include the Bhopal-Itarsi Express (Train No. 11272) and the Itarsi-Bhopal Express (Train No. 11271). The halt for Train No. 11272 is cancelled from July 23 to July 25, 2026, while Train No. 11271 will be affected from July 27 to July 29, 2026.
Similarly, the Itarsi-Prayagraj Chhivki Express (Train No. 11273) and the Prayagraj Chhivki-Itarsi Express (Train No. 11274) will not stop at Guramkhedi station between July 27-29, 2026, and July 23-25, 2026, respectively.
Other affected trains include the Katni-Bhusawal Express (Train No. 19014) and the Bhusawal-Katni Express (Train No. 19013), with their halts cancelled from July 24-26, 2026, and July 27-29, 2026, respectively.
Additionally, MEMU Special trains will also see disruptions. The Katni-Itarsi MEMU Special (Train No. 61618) will not stop at Guramkhedi from July 24-26, 2026, and the Itarsi-Katni MEMU Special (Train No. 61617) will be affected from July 27-29, 2026.

The railway administration requests passengers to take note of these temporary changes when planning their travel during the specified period. Passengers are advised to check the current status of their trains via the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or other authorized railway channels before their journey.
