The issue of extremely dilapidated roads and delays in various construction projects in the Gasdi area of Balrampur district has now reached the highest authorities in the state's Public Works Department. On Sunday, former BJP MLA from Gasdi, Shailesh Singh Shailu, met with the Principal Secretary of the Public Works Department in Lucknow to apprise him in detail about the severe problems plaguing his constituency.

MLA Shailesh Singh Shailu informed the Principal Secretary that the region's roads have been a subject of discussion for a long time due to their deplorable state. The general public is facing immense difficulties in commuting. This problem becomes even more acute during the monsoon season, making travel not only arduous but also increasing the risk of accidents. The slow pace or premature halt of construction work is also escalating public anger.
