Security Review Underway for CM's Farrukhabad Visit
In anticipation of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's proposed visit to Farrukhabad on September 3rd, police administration has begun finalizing security preparations. Kanpur Zonal Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Yamuna Prasad conducted a thorough inspection of security and other arrangements at the Police Line, Fatehgarh, on Saturday, issuing necessary directives to officials.
Detailed Inspection and Directives Issued
DIG Yamuna Prasad closely examined the preparations for the helipad, parking facilities, and route diversions established at the Police Line. He also held a briefing with police officers and personnel assigned to the Chief Minister's security detail.
Emphasis on Vigilance and Coordination
During the briefing, he instructed all police personnel to be present at their designated duty points on time and to strictly adhere to VIP security standards. The DIG emphasized maintaining smooth crowd and traffic management, alongside complete alertness to handle any emergency situations. He cautioned against any negligence in security arrangements and directed everyone to perform their duties with mutual coordination.
Key Officials Present, Venue Shifted
District Magistrate Ankur Lathar and Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh were also present during the inspection. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's visit was initially planned for Dabri village but has been relocated to Police Line, Fatehgarh, due to the apprehension of heavy rainfall.
