Law and Order and Traffic Facilitation Take Center Stage
In Etawah, a significant meeting was held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Etawah Police Line auditorium. DIG Range Yamuna Prasad convened with key traders and representatives from various business organizations from the district.
The primary objective of this dialogue was to ensure law and order in the markets, guarantee the safety of traders, and facilitate smoother traffic management. Particular emphasis was placed on establishing better coordination between the police and the business community to foster a secure and conducive environment for commercial activities.
Key Officials Present and Assurances Given
Present at this crucial meeting were Senior Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, SP City Babita Singh, and SP Rural Shrish Chandra, along with all Circle Officers of the district. Officials from the police administration assured traders of their continuous efforts to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the markets and improve the traffic system.
During the meeting, extensive discussions were also held on various suggestions to further strengthen security standards. The police administration reiterated its commitment to the safety and well-being of the business community.

The meeting saw significant participation from representatives of various business organizations, led by Sarvesh Singh Chauhan, the State Senior Vice President of the Industry Trade Representative Mandate. Prominent office-bearers such as Taranpal Singh (Patron), Alok Dixit (District President), Manoj Kumar Katheria, Kamil Qureshi, Ashok Jatav, Chaman Warsi, and Sardar Mandeep Singh were part of the delegation.
