Guna, September 23, 2026 - A grand procession organized on the auspicious occasion of Dhol Gyaras in Guna city this year has surpassed all previous records. The event, a joint initiative of the Virat Hindu Utsav Samiti, Chintan Manch, Chal Samaroh Swagat Samiti, and Hanuman Tekri Trust, showcased a remarkable display of akhadas, cultural tableaux, and exceptional talents from various communities.

Thousands of devotees and city residents participated in this grand festival, demonstrating immense devotion and enthusiasm. During the event's seamless execution, Kailash Manthan emphasized the current need for national and social unity in his address. He highlighted that major festivals and celebrations are direct symbols of strengthening communal harmony.

Community Participation and Cultural Displays

Manthan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the district administration, police force, organizing committee members, and the media for the smooth conduct of the event. He also clarified that the conclusion of Ganesh Utsav would take place on Anant Chaturdashi. This year's celebration was a vibrant confluence of cultural diversity and talent, with various communities, including Kori, Namdev, Maithil Ojha, Valmiki, Kushwaha, Rathore, Jatav, and Yogi societies, presenting highly commendable cultural performances.

Approximately 250 tableau setups across the city were a major attraction, depicting various religious and social themes. The active participation of women and the impressive performance by Durga Vahini were particularly noteworthy in the procession. Young girls from Durga Vahini mesmerized the assembled crowd with their sword fighting and astonishing feats, earning them accolades and awards from the committee.
