Deori Municipality CMO Inspects Laxmi Ward, Prioritizes Development Works

Laxmi Ward Inspection and Issue Resolution
Deori, September 3, 2026 - Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Manohar Bijhwar and Sub-Engineer Sunil Khemaria of the Deori Municipality conducted a detailed inspection of Laxmi Ward on Thursday. During the visit, officials assessed various issues plaguing the ward, including drainage cleanliness, street light arrangements, and ongoing construction work.
During the inspection, Laxmi Ward Councilor Representative Rakesh Chaurasia informed the officials about the ward's primary problems. Local residents also voiced their concerns regarding drainage maintenance, street light availability, and incomplete construction projects. CMO Bijhwar and Sub-Engineer Khemaria listened patiently to the residents' issues and issued immediate action directives to the relevant authorities, assuring prompt resolution.
Several ward representatives were present during this significant inspection. Alongside Rakesh Chaurasia, representatives from Ambedkar Ward, Narayan Valmiki, and Bazar Ward, Kashiram Patel, also shared their views on ward development issues.
Development Works to Receive Priority Across All 15 Wards
Chief Municipal Officer Manohar Bijhwar emphasized that development works in all 15 wards of Deori Municipality will be given the highest priority. He stated that a key objective of the municipality is to ensure that all citizens benefit from the basic facilities provided by the government.
CMO Bijhwar further instructed all ward in-charges to conduct regular visits to their respective wards and pay special attention to problems reported by residents. He stressed the importance of ensuring swift resolution of locally received complaints through the relevant departments.
He added that resolving every issue within the town is both a moral and administrative duty of the municipal administration. Continuous efforts will be made to provide a better standard of living for citizens and foster the overall development of the city.
