'Seva Setu' Camp Held in Damoh
Damoh's Government Excellence School hosted a massive camp on Saturday as part of the 'Seva Setu' campaign. The primary objective was to ensure government schemes and services reach the last person in need.
This initiative, part of a statewide 'Seva Sankalp' campaign, provided swift, on-the-spot solutions to citizens' problems. The event was attended by Member of Parliament Rahul Singh Lodhi, MLA Jayant Malaiya, BJP District President Shyam Shivhare, and Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav.
Focus on Antyodaya and Self-Reliance
During the camp, MP Rahul Singh Lodhi emphasized the importance of the 'Antyodaya' principle, stating that connecting the most marginalized individuals to the mainstream is crucial to achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047.
He also lauded efforts towards women's self-reliance and distributed 50 sewing machines. MLA Jayant Malaiya highlighted the improvement in farmers' economic conditions due to the expansion of irrigation facilities in the region.
Ensuring Scheme Effectiveness and Citizen Services
Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav stated that the key goal of the Chief Minister's Jan Seva and Jan Vishwas campaigns is to understand the effectiveness of schemes at the grassroots level. He informed that 32 teams of district-level officials inspected gram panchayats to assess arrangements, with reporting done online via GPS and photography.
Various departments, including Revenue, Health, Fisheries, and Agriculture, set up stalls at the camp. Administrative officials resolved citizens' applications on the spot. Nine beneficiaries received sanction letters of ₹2 lakh each under the Sambal Yojana, five received mutation orders for deceased individuals, and ten were provided with Ayushman Cards.
The 'Jalpari' fisherman group was handed over a pond lease for ten years, and the Agriculture Department distributed power sprayer pumps to farmers. Beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti and Ladli Laxmi schemes also received benefits.
The camp concluded with pension distribution and health check-ups.
