Public Grievance Camp Held at Damoh Police Office
A special public grievance redressal camp was organized at the Damoh Superintendent of Police Office on Tuesday. Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladagi directly listened to the grave problems of citizens who had arrived from far-flung rural areas of the district.
During the session, numerous significant matters such as land disputes, family quarrels, personal animosities, and financial fraud were brought to light. The citizens present demanded prompt justice for these issues. A large number of people submitted their applications at the grievance camp.
Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladagi treated each applicant's complaint with utmost seriousness, not only listening patiently but also assuring a fair investigation. He emphasized that providing accessible justice to citizens is the highest priority of the police department.
Instructions Issued for Prompt Resolution of Pending Cases
During the camp, a significant number of applications related to pending police cases at the Superintendent of Police Office were also received. Regarding these applications, Mr. Kaladagi issued clear instructions to all concerned Station House Officers and Sub-divisional Officers to duly examine the received complaints.
He specifically stressed that the resolution of each complaint must be ensured within a prescribed timeframe. This measure aims to prevent undue harassment of affected citizens and ensure they receive timely justice. This public grievance redressal initiative is serving as a crucial medium to strengthen communication between ordinary citizens and the police department, thereby enhancing transparency and accountability in police operations.
