Shastra Pujan Ceremony Held at Damoh Police Line

On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, Damoh Police Line successfully conducted a dignified 'Shastra Pujan' ceremony in accordance with Indian traditions. This annual event saw the special participation of the State Minister for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts, and Endowments (Independent Charge), Dharmendra Singh Lodhi.

Joining the minister were Damoh MP Rahul Singh Lodhi, Hatta MLA Umadevi Khatik, and Bharatiya Janata Party District President Shyam Shivhare. They all participated in the 'Shastra Pujan', showing respect for this significant tradition.

Significance of Shastra Pujan

'Shastra Pujan' is traditionally regarded in Indian culture as a symbol of bravery, valor, and the accumulation of strength. This festival highlights the message of the victory of good over evil.

Senior administrative and police officials of the Damoh district were present. Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav and Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladagi participated in the 'Shastra Pujan'.

In addition to them, other police department officers, staff, and a large number of local representatives also bore witness to this event. Following the worship of the weapons, all attendees exchanged Vijayadashami greetings.
