Damoh Police Honor Social Media Influencers for Public Awareness Efforts

Police Initiative Recognizes Digital Contributors

In a unique initiative, the Damoh Police have honored social media influencers who have assisted in spreading public awareness and effectively communicating various campaigns to the general populace. A special ceremony was held at the Superintendent of Police office in Damoh.

During the event, prominent social media influencers from the district and surrounding areas were presented with certificates of appreciation and mementos for their outstanding contributions. Superintendent of Police Mr. Anand Kaladagi (IPS) highly praised the work of all the honored influencers.

Harnessing Social Media for Public Good

Mr. Kaladagi emphasized that in the current digital age, social media has become an extremely powerful medium for public relations and disseminating awareness. He stated that its positive utilization can deliver important and public-interest messages to a maximum number of people in a short time.

He further explained that Damoh Police periodically conducts various important social awareness campaigns, including those on cyber security, de-addiction, adherence to traffic rules, and women and child safety. Social media plays a crucial role in the success of these campaigns.

The Superintendent of Police appealed to all social media influencers to continue their active cooperation in promoting public welfare campaigns in collaboration with the police in the future, to bring about positive change in society.

During the ceremony, Mr. Kaladagi stressed that social media is not merely a tool for entertainment but also a strong platform for educating and making society responsible. He urged influencers to use their platforms to deliver accurate and authentic information to the youth and general citizens.

All social media influencers present at the honor ceremony expressed their firm resolve to continuously cooperate with the Damoh Police and actively participate in campaigns related to societal welfare.
