Damoh Police Line Hosts Commemoration Ceremony

Damoh Police Line on Wednesday hosted a dignified event on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day. A heartfelt tribute was paid to 154 brave police and paramilitary personnel who made the supreme sacrifice of their lives for the nation's security and the protection of its citizens.

A grand parade was presented by the police force in honor of these brave individuals who gave their all on the altar of duty, which was the main attraction of the entire event. During the ceremony, the family of the martyred police officer, late Madan Trivedi, was honored with a shawl and a coconut.

Present at the event were the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trusts and Endowments, Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Member of Parliament Rahul Singh Lodhi, Damoh MLA Jayant Malaiya, Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav, and Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladgi, along with several public representatives and senior officials.

Martyrs' Sacrifice Hailed as National Treasure

In his address, Minister of State Dharmendra Singh Lodhi described the sacrifice of the martyrs as an invaluable national heritage. He stated that Police Commemoration Day is a special day to remember those immortal soldiers who sacrificed everything for the country's defense.

Their sacrifice and dedication will forever inspire future generations. He further added that the role of the police force in the country's internal security is extremely important, and their sacrifices can never be forgotten. These are the brave individuals who performed their duties selflessly and laid down their lives.

Meanwhile, Member of Parliament Rahul Singh Lodhi remarked that law and order and peace prevail in the country due to the dedication and indomitable courage of the jawans. He expressed deep gratitude to the families of the martyred jawans, stating that their contribution to the nation is invaluable and the nation will forever be indebted to them.

He also emphasized that such occasions provide us with an opportunity to express our respect and gratitude towards our security personnel who are ready to protect us every moment. He stressed that honoring the families of the martyrs is our moral duty.

Call for Public Gratitude to Martyrs

Damoh MLA Jayant Malaiya, in his address, said that October 21 serves as a reminder of those brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the country's citizens. He urged citizens to always remain grateful in honor of the martyrs and remember their sacrifices.

He emphasized that the contribution of these jawans is precious in maintaining the unity and integrity of the country. Their sacrifice teaches us that national service is the greatest dharma.

Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav stated that the sacrifice made for the defense of the nation's unity and integrity will be remembered for centuries. He urged the attendees to draw inspiration from the ideals of the jawans and perform their respective duties with honesty and integrity.

Saluting the courage of the security personnel, he said that they are the sentinels of our society who face adverse situations fearlessly. It is due to their bravery and valor that we feel safe.

Inspiration from the Courage and Dedication of Security Forces

Superintendent of Police Anand Kaladgi stated that the courage and dedication of police and paramilitary personnel across the country towards the nation is a great source of inspiration for all of us. He said that the martyrdom of these brave jawans inspires us to be more vigilant and dedicated towards our duties.

This is not just a remembrance day, but also an opportunity to express our gratitude towards our security personnel. The program was conducted by Pt. Vipin Chaubey.

The primary objective of this event, held at Damoh Police Line, was to pay respect to the jawans martyred in the service of the nation and to establish their sacrifice as an inspiration for the new generation. All the distinguished citizens and police personnel present paid homage by offering floral tributes to the pictures of the martyrs.

This event highlighted the important and selfless role of the police force in the internal security of the country, who are continuously vigilant to protect the countrymen. A true tribute to these fallen heroes is to internalize their ideals and fulfill our responsibilities towards the nation with utmost sincerity.
