Public Grievances Addressed at Damoh Camp
DAMOH, October 9, 2026 – A significant camp was organized in Hindoria, Damoh district, as part of the Chief Minister's Jan Vishwas Abhiyan. Elected representatives and administrative officials listened to the concerns of the general public and assured prompt resolution of their issues.
During the event, beneficiaries received acceptance letters and benefits under various public welfare schemes, including the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme. The program was held at the local Rajgadi ground.
Officials Emphasize Public Service and Development
Addressing the gathering, Damoh MLA Jayant Kumar Malaiya stated his dedication to public service for approximately 42 years. He highlighted the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme as a crucial component of rural development and urged citizens to leverage the camp's benefits.
Hatta MLA Umadevi Khatik described the campaign as a powerful medium for direct communication between the government and the public. She praised the development work undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and called upon the youth to become self-reliant through skill development.
Former MLA Pradumn Singh remarked that resolving public issues at a single location with administrative presence is a significant initiative for public welfare.
Progress on Grievance and Application Resolution
Praveen Phulpagare, Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, informed that the Chief Minister's Jan Vishwas Abhiyan will continue until January 9, 2027. He reported that 24,544 public grievances and 35,624 Lok Seva Guarantee applications have been successfully resolved in the district to date.
An online portal has been launched in Damoh district as an innovation for inspecting government offices and digitally maintaining records.
Entrepreneurship and Scheme Benefits Distributed
An 'Udyam Samvad' (Entrepreneur Dialogue) was also organized during the camp. Young entrepreneur Rahul Jain shared his experience of establishing a petrol pump with the government's financial assistance.
Acceptance letters and cards were provided to beneficiaries under animal husbandry, the Udyam Kranti Scheme, and the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Additionally, services such as health check-ups, distribution of agricultural machinery, and Aadhaar correction were available at the camp, drawing a large number of local residents.
The primary objective of this campaign is to ensure that no eligible individual is deprived of government scheme benefits and that public problems are addressed swiftly.
