Collector Issues Stern Warning on Road Quality

Damoh Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav expressed deep dissatisfaction with the deplorable condition of roads during a scheduled review meeting on Monday. He issued unequivocal directives to Public Works Department (PWD) officials, emphasizing the urgent need for immediate improvement and repair of roads.

The Collector stressed that any negligence in this matter would not be tolerated, and strict action would be taken against those found responsible. He instructed departmental officials to prioritize all areas requiring road improvement or repair, highlighting that the poor state of the roads is causing significant inconvenience to the public.

Public Grievances on 'Lokpath App' to be Addressed Promptly

Collector Yadav specifically focused on the road-related complaints lodged by citizens through the Lokpath App. He directed officials to take every entry on the app seriously, conduct physical verification of the concerned roads, and ensure necessary actions are taken.

He emphasized the importance of accurately mapping departmental roads to facilitate the identification and resolution of issues. The Collector stated that the PWD must ensure citizens can trust the Lokpath App and that their grievances are resolved in a timely manner. Failure to improve road conditions or address complaints will result in disciplinary action against the concerned officials.
