Concerns Over Stray Cattle and Traffic Jams

Daboh, Bhind – October 1, 2026 | A representative delegation of local citizens and social workers from Daboh has submitted a comprehensive charter of demands to Sandhya Rai, the Member of Parliament for the Bhind-Datia constituency. The memorandum addresses three long-standing and serious issues affecting the town. During the meeting, citizens expressed grave concerns regarding traffic congestion and increasing accidents caused by stray cattle on the town's roads.

The delegation informed the MP that the large number of stray animals frequently disrupts traffic and leads to accidents. As a permanent solution, the citizens strongly advocated for the construction of a well-managed cow shelter within the town to provide a safe haven for these animals and clear them from the roads.

Urgent Need for Improved Healthcare Services

The memorandum also highlighted the dilapidated state of the local primary health center. The delegation reported a shortage of permanent doctors and essential emergency staff, resulting in critically ill patients not receiving timely and adequate treatment. Citizens demanded the establishment of 24-hour emergency services and the permanent posting of doctors to improve the quality of healthcare.

Cremation Ground Facilities Require Attention

Furthermore, the poor condition of the town's only cremation ground was brought to the MP's attention. The delegation urged Sandhya Rai to renovate the cremation ground premises and develop essential basic facilities, ensuring that crucial rituals like final rites can be conducted smoothly.

Prominent citizens and social workers including Bhure Yadav, Anand Badagaon, Shivam Rajak, and Tanveer Pathan participated in the meeting. They unanimously described these problems as major obstacles to the town's development and expressed their expectation for swift action from the government and administration. MP Sandhya Rai listened patiently to all concerns and assured appropriate resolution.

This proactive engagement by the citizens is considered a significant step towards improving the system in Daboh. They are committed to continuing their struggle until these issues are resolved.
