A video showing chaos at popular singer Kailash Kher’s concert in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, has gone viral on social media.
Kailash Kher was performing at the Gwalior Vyapar Mela Maidan during an event organised to mark the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The show began smoothly, with the audience enjoying the singer’s popular tracks such as Teri Deewani, Saiyaan and Chaandan Mein.
However, the situation escalated when a section of the crowd broke through barricades and rushed towards the stage. A visibly disturbed Kher paused the performance and appealed to the audience to maintain discipline.
Addressing the crowd, he warned that the show would be stopped if anyone came close to the instruments or equipment, urging fans not to behave recklessly. Despite repeated appeals, the situation failed to improve.
Eventually, Kailash Kher left the stage, saying, “Aapko main pranaam karta hoon,” effectively ending the performance.
Earlier, the singer had shared his excitement about the Gwalior event on Instagram, captioning his post, “Gwalior, let’s turn the city into a festival tonight,” in reference to Gwalior Gaurav Divas and Tabla Divas celebrations.
Kailash Kher has not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
