The New Delhi Traders Association (NDTA) has advised all commercial establishments, offices, and restaurants in the prominent Connaught Place area to remain closed until 6:30 PM on Thursday. This precautionary measure aims to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents during a proposed protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP).

The advisory was received by the NDTA via telephone from the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). Citing the sensitive law and order situation, administration officials recommended the closure as a preventive step.
