Development Work Oversight in Narsinghgarh
Bhopal Commissioner BBG Ram Ji, accompanied by Senior Data Analysis Specialist Mr. Owais Ahmed, conducted an inspection of various ongoing development works in the two Gram Panchayats of Narsinghgarh: Mana and Jamonia Ganesh. The visit, part of the BBG Ram Ji Yojana, aimed to assess the progress and quality of these projects.
During the inspection at Gram Panchayat Mana, the Commissioner personally observed works including rooftop water harvesting, tree plantation, the Panchayat building, and the Anganwadi. He provided essential directives to the concerned staff to maintain the progress and quality of these initiatives.
Emphasis on Project Quality and Digital Transparency
Subsequently, the officials proceeded to Gram Panchayat Jamonia Ganesh. Here, they reviewed projects such as the 'Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam' initiative, Panchayat building construction, and block tree plantation, all under the purview of the plan. The Commissioner underscored the importance of ensuring all works met prescribed standards and were of high quality.
A significant step towards enhancing transparency was taken when Commissioner BBG Ram Ji facilitated the recording of attendance for laborers working on-site through a mobile application. This measure aims to verify the actual presence of workers and introduce greater transparency in the scheme's implementation, demonstrating the administration's increasing use of digital tools to improve accountability in government projects.
Guidance on Digital Platform Utilization
On this occasion, the Commissioner also shared information regarding crucial digital platforms such as Planner Software, Sipri Portal, and Yuktdhara Portal with the attending officials and staff. He provided necessary guidance on the effective use of these digital tools, intending to further streamline the monitoring and management of development works.
The inspection team included several officials such as Mr. Harpesh Gupta from the District Panchayat, Mr. Prabal Ajarariya from Janpad Narsinghgarh, AE Mr. Jhankar Singh, Engineer Mr. Sanjeev Verma, AAO Mr. Arun Sharma, and Mr. Shaitan Singh. The officials collectively emphasized the timely completion of development works in rural areas, maintaining quality, and the effective implementation of government schemes.
