Collector Orders Impartial Inquiry into CM Helpline Complaint Without Initial Investigation

Education Department Accused of Improper Complaint Resolution

Serious questions have been raised regarding the functioning of the Lahar Education Department in Bhindi district concerning the resolution of complaints filed on the CM Helpline. Department officials are accused of closing a complaint on the portal as baseless without conducting any physical inspection on the ground.

Taking serious cognizance of this matter, Bhindi Collector Kirodi Lal Meena has ordered an impartial investigation into the entire episode. Strict action will be taken against the officials and employees found guilty during the inquiry.

Complaint Filed and Allegedly Closed Prematurely

Aziz Khan, a resident of Aalampur, filed a complaint on the CM Helpline on July 9, 2026, alleging a lack of classes at the Government Girls Primary School. The matter was forwarded to the Lahar Education Department for resolution.

In response, on July 28, 2026, a report was filed on the CM Helpline portal by Ajay Jha, BRCC (Block Resource Coordinator) of Lahar. The report stated that the issue was investigated by a Jan Shikshak (educational instructor) and found to be completely baseless.

Investigation Claim Contradicted

The department's claim of an investigation was questioned when the concerned Jan Shikshak, Gamlal Rajput, clarified that he had not conducted any inspection of the school in question.

Following the Jan Shikshak's statement, complainant Aziz Khan updated the case on the portal again, objecting to the alleged claim of investigation made by the officials.

Complaint Marked 'Satisfied' Without Consent

The issue did not end there. On August 4, 2026, another response was filed on the portal by the Education Department, stating that the complainant had been satisfied and wished to withdraw the complaint.

However, complainant Aziz Khan alleges that no official from the block or cluster level contacted him. He had neither any conversation regarding the complaint nor was he provided any information about the resolution of the problem. Despite this, his consent and satisfaction were recorded on the portal, and the complaint was closed.

Collector Orders Impartial Inquiry

This entire incident has raised serious questions about the credibility of the complaint resolution process on the CM Helpline. Bhindi Collector Kirodi Lal Meena has taken this matter very seriously and has directed that the entire case be impartially investigated.

If the investigation confirms negligence in resolving the complaint, inaccurate reporting, or the closure of the complaint without the complainant's consent, strict disciplinary action will be initiated against the concerned officials and employees.

“An impartial inquiry is being conducted into the entire matter. Whichever official or employee is found guilty during the investigation will face strict disciplinary action.”

Collector Kirodi Lal Meena clarified that submitting false information or responses on important and sensitive platforms like the CM Helpline is a grave offense.

This incident highlights the functioning of the government's grievance redressal mechanism, where the disparity between claims and realities has become a matter of serious concern.
