Collaborative Supervision Session on Effective Teaching at Madanapur Primary School

The Cliff News | Bareilly | October 6, 2026 A significant collaborative supervision session was organized by the Language and Learning Foundation at the primary school in Madanapur, located in the Mirganj development block of Bareilly. The primary aim of this session was to assist teachers in improving student comprehension through innovative, effective teaching methods, particularly in subjects like mathematics.

This initiative is proving instrumental in familiarizing teachers with the latest pedagogical techniques and upgrading the standard of primary education, marking a crucial step towards improving the quality of education. During this academic activity, Block Coordinator Shabana Khan closely observed the use of guide-based innovative methodologies by Class 1 teacher Sunita Bajaj. Teacher Bajaj effectively employed these methods to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts among students.

Guides serve as a valuable resource for teachers, helping them plan and implement various teaching-learning activities in the classroom. This ensures that the learning process remains consistent and effective. Alongside Academic Facilitator Poonam Devi, Block Coordinator Shabana Khan conducted a thorough assessment of the overall classroom teaching, including evaluating student participation, their level of understanding, and the methods being used by the teachers.

Emphasis on Child-Centric Learning

During the supervision, a detailed assessment of the children's actual learning levels was conducted. This focused on aspects such as students' ability to solve mathematical problems, their understanding of concepts, and their active participation in the classroom. Block Coordinator Shabana Khan provided important suggestions to the teachers to make the teaching process more effective and child-centric.

Her objective was to ensure that teaching methods are tailored to meet the individual learning needs of each student, thereby effectively developing their mathematical understanding. A child-centric approach means teachers adapt their teaching strategies by considering students' interests, abilities, and learning styles. This approach engages students more actively in the learning process and enhances their learning capacity.

Encouragement and Future Strategy for Teachers

Teacher Amit Kumar, Veer Singh, and Harpal were also present at this important session. Through supervision, all teachers were continuously encouraged to adopt better teaching strategies and work according to the individual learning pace and needs of the children. This collaborative supervision was not just an opportunity to evaluate current teaching practices, but also to prepare a roadmap for the future.

Teachers were explained how they can implement these new strategies for continuous improvement in their classrooms. The school administration has deemed this initiative an extremely useful step towards improving teaching quality. This participatory approach plays a significant role in bringing positive change to the field of education, leading to better educational experiences for students. The Language and Learning Foundation's initiative is proving helpful in familiarizing teachers with modern educational techniques and upgrading the standard of primary education.
