Following directives from Bhind Collector Kirodilal Meena, the municipal administration has initiated measures to enhance the city's sanitation and public amenities. In line with this, on Sunday, Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Virendra Chakravarty conducted an unscheduled visit to the city's bus stand.
Anger Over Poor Sanitation and Toilet Conditions
During the inspection, CMO Virendra Chakravarty was dismayed by the general disarray at the bus stand premises. He was particularly angered by the deplorable state of the public toilets, which revealed significant neglect and filth. Zero Tolerance for Lapses in Passenger Amenities
Issuing a stern warning to the caretaker, CMO Virendra Chakravarty emphasized that any shortcomings in providing basic amenities to citizens and travelers would not be tolerated. He ordered the immediate rectification of the sanitation system. The CMO also made it clear that strict punitive action would be taken against the responsible individual if satisfactory improvements were not observed soon.
Expectation of Improved Facilities
The CMO's sudden inspection caused a stir within the bus stand premises. Following the municipality's firm stance, passengers now anticipate better facilities and improved cleanliness in the near future. This inspection aims to uphold sanitation and amenity standards at public places, ensuring travelers do not face inconvenience.
