CM Yogi Seeks State's Prosperity at Maa Patheshwari Shrine
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers with full rituals at the renowned Shaktipeeth Maa Patheshwari Devi temple in Balrampur on Wednesday morning. He performed special rituals, praying for the prosperity, happiness, and good health of the state's residents.
The puja, conducted amidst Vedic chants, filled the temple premises with a devotional atmosphere. Following the prayers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the temple's Goshala (cow shelter), where he personally fed cows jaggery and green fodder, engaging in Gau Seva (cow service). He emphasized the importance of cow protection and Indian cultural traditions.
Devotees' Enthusiasm and Tight Security Measures
A large crowd of devotees and local residents had gathered at and around the temple premises since morning in anticipation of the Chief Minister's arrival. An atmosphere of enthusiasm and devotion prevailed throughout the area. The temple's Mahant, Mithilesh Nath Yogi, was also present and briefed the Chief Minister on the temple's religious traditions.
Extensive security arrangements were made by the administration to ensure the Chief Minister's visit was safe and smooth. Police personnel were deployed at the temple, its entrance, and surrounding routes. Senior police and administrative officials continuously monitored the security, ensuring the entire event concluded peacefully.

Several public representatives, administrative officials, and dignitaries were present during this religious visit. These included: District Panchayat President Aarti Tiwari, District President Ravi Kumar Mishra, Sadar MLA Paltoo Ram, Tulsipur MLA Kailashnath Shukla, Utraula MLA Ram Pratap Verma, President of Adarsh Nagar Palika Parishad Sardar Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’, former MLA of Gasdi Shailesh Singh ‘Shailu’, and Utraula Nagar Palika President's representative Anup Chand Gupta.
The Chief Minister's visit served as a significant message of religious faith, Gau Seva, and public outreach.
