Devotees' Comfort and Security Prioritized at Maa Patshwari Temple
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed rituals and offered prayers at the revered Maa Patshwari Devi Shaktipeeth in Balrampur on the auspicious occasion of Shardiya Navratri. Arriving at the temple on Sunday morning, the Chief Minister participated in the 'aarti' and offered special prayers for the happiness, health, and prosperity of the state's residents.
He also issued directives to pay special attention to the security, convenience, and sanitation for devotees coming from across the country and abroad. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in Balrampur on Saturday in connection with the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony of development projects. He had stayed overnight at the Devipatan temple complex.
After offering prayers and performing rituals on Sunday, he meticulously inspected the arrangements within the temple complex. In view of the Navratri and Dussehra festivals, he issued strict instructions to the administration and police officials, emphasizing that devotees should not face any inconvenience. He also urged those involved with temple management to prioritize the convenience of devotees.
Emphasis on Security and Cleanliness at Temple Premises
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath provided necessary directions to officials regarding the smooth arrival of devotees and the successful culmination of the festivals at the Maa Patshwari Devi temple complex. He specifically stressed the importance of security, cleanliness, and enhanced facilities for devotees.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that visitors coming for Navratri and the upcoming Dussehra festival do not encounter any difficulties. Given that a large number of devotees from India and abroad visit this internationally renowned Shaktipeeth, their comfort is paramount.
The Chief Minister directed the local administration to deploy an adequate police force within the temple premises and launch a special campaign to maintain cleanliness. He also stated that proper arrangements for drinking water, lighting, and sanitation facilities for devotees should be ensured.
Chief Minister met with office bearers of the temple management committee and urged them to always prioritize the facilities of devotees. He reiterated that the state government is committed to the preservation and promotion of religious and mythological sites, alongside development.
The Maa Patshwari Devi temple is a center of faith, and all necessary steps should be taken to ensure that devotees visiting here have a pleasant experience. The Chief Minister's visit ensured a focus on improving the overall experience for pilgrims during the festive season.
Cow Shelter Inspection and Service
As part of his visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited a cow shelter. There, he engaged in 'Goseva' (service to cows) by feeding jaggery and green fodder to the cattle. During this time, he also met with local representatives, saints, and distinguished citizens.
Stringent security arrangements were in place in and around the temple complex due to the Chief Minister's arrival. The Chief Minister, along with Gorakshpeethadhishwar, was accompanied by Mahant Mithilesh Nath Yogi on this occasion. A large number of devotees arrived at the temple to pay their respects to Maa Patshwari.
The administration has also made extensive arrangements within the temple complex, anticipating a heavy influx of devotees during Navratri, to ensure the festival's celebrations proceed peacefully. The Chief Minister reviewed the health and diet of the cattle at the cow shelter and provided necessary directives to the concerned officials for the smooth operation of the shelters. He stated that the state government is continuously striving for the protection and conservation of cattle and is also working towards making cow shelters self-reliant.
