CM Mohan Yadav Emphasizes Inclusive Development, Promotes Swadeshi During Festive Season

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday reiterated his government’s commitment to inclusive development, highlighting initiatives targeted at farmers, youth, women, and marginalized communities. Addressing villagers at Jagdishpur in Berasi assembly constituency, Bhopal district, Yadav spoke at the historic Chaman Mahal, a state-protected monument, affirming, “Development for all is our pledge, and we will fulfill this by keeping every promise.”

During his visit, the Chief Minister joined local self-help group Didis to listen to the 126th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He also administered the ‘Swadeshi Oath’ to the villagers, encouraging them to use Indian-made products, replace imported goods with domestic alternatives, and adopt eco-friendly and sustainable items in daily life.

Yadav extended his greetings for Navratri, and ahead of Dussehra and Diwali, urged citizens to celebrate the festivals using Swadeshi and Made-in-India products. Coining the slogan “Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi”, he highlighted that buying local goods supports micro, small, medium, and cottage industries, thereby ensuring that festive prosperity reaches artisans, craftsmen, and potters across the state.

The Chief Minister also briefed farmers about the Bhavantar Yojana, advising them to register for the scheme between October 5 and October 25. Under the program, soybeans sold from November 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026, will be eligible for price support. If the selling price falls below the minimum support price of ₹5,328 per quintal, the government will cover the difference, ensuring that farmers receive full compensation for their crops.

Through these initiatives, Yadav emphasized the state government’s goal of empowering communities, promoting self-reliance, and ensuring that the benefits of development and festivals are equitably shared across all sections of society.
