Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav provided crucial directives to commissioners and collectors regarding the 'Mukhyamantri Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' via video conference on Friday. During this virtual meeting, he also inaugurated the 'Jan Vishwas Portal'.
The 'Mukhyamantri Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will be conducted across the state, from the state level down to the Gram Panchayat level, from September 17 to October 17. The campaign's commencement coincides with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
The Chief Minister instructed all collectors to prepare a date-wise schedule of events for the campaign's outlined points. He emphasized ensuring the participation of distinguished citizens, public representatives, social organizations, self-help groups, religious organizations, voluntary institutions, and the general public in these programs.
Separate nodal officers will be appointed for the various events organized under the campaign, while commissioners will oversee its monitoring. This comprehensive initiative aims to enhance public service delivery and citizen outreach throughout the state.
Key Points and Activities of the Abhiyan
The 'Mukhyamantri Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will feature several significant festivals and four camps under the 'Jan Vishwas Abhiyan'. Directives have been issued for excellent coordination across all these events.
During the campaign, programs for cleaning ghats of major rivers and lighting diyas will also be organized, focusing on beautifying the local environment and public spaces. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of effectively promoting the achievements of each district, significant construction works, and major projects, along with the positive changes they bring to people's lives, on social media and digital platforms.
Instructions were given to directly engage with beneficiaries of various government schemes and to post their photos and video bytes, thereby conveying the real impact of government initiatives to the public. A comprehensive record of this digital data collected from across the state will be compiled.
'Deep of Blessings' and the Dream of 'Developed India'
Under the campaign, beneficiaries will light a 'Deep of Blessings' in their homes. Additionally, diyas will be lit at prominent public places, river ghats, and symbols of development, sending a positive message. To realize the dream of a 'Developed India', speech and painting competitions will be organized among students.
An exhibition of the best paintings created in these competitions will also be held, providing a platform for young talent. The Culture Department will present the achievements of major welfare schemes in simple language through street plays. In observance of Gandhi Jayanti, street plays and other cultural programs will be organized at all district headquarters, promoting social and historical consciousness.
Anganwadi Festival and the Role of Public Relations
During the video conference, it was also informed that an 'Aangan Ka Utsav' (Festival of the Courtyard) will be celebrated at every Anganwadi center from September 25 to October 7. These festivals will feature special programs related to children and women. Furthermore, Anganwadi and ASHA workers will be honored, and dialogue sessions with women will be organized.
The Public Relations Department will play a crucial role in the campaign. This department will showcase stories of transformation in the lives of beneficiaries of development schemes through social, print, and electronic media. The positive changes brought about by the construction of major development works like dams, canals, highways, hospitals, industrial institutions, and airports will also be highlighted through various media channels.
Seva Jyoti Yatra and the 'Panchayat to Parliament' Mahakumbh
A 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' will also be taken out on a designated route during the campaign, for which the Rural Development Department will make necessary arrangements. Through this journey, the saga of development will be presented through large rangolis, human rangolis, and other creative mediums.
The campaign will culminate on October 17 in Delhi with a 'Mahakumbh' (Grand Confluence) of 'Panchayat to Parliament' public servants, providing a significant platform for grassroots workers. This 'Mahakumbh' will bring together public servants working at various levels, offering them an opportunity to share their experiences and honor their contributions to nation-building. The objective of this event is to encourage those engaged in public service and showcase their collective strength.
Detailed instructions related to the campaign have been issued, and all concerned officials have been directed to complete preparations in accordance with these directives. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also described the launch of the Jan Vishwas Portal as a significant step, providing an accessible medium for the public to obtain information about government schemes and initiatives, and to provide feedback.
Through this portal, citizens can directly convey their problems and suggestions to the government, thereby increasing transparency and accountability in the administrative system. The portal aims to be a bridge between the government and the citizens, fostering a more responsive governance model.
