Though the actor did not disclose the reason for her hospitalisation or provide any details about her expected discharge, screenshots of the post circulated widely on social media, prompting an outpouring of love and support from her fans. Comments ranged from heartfelt prayers to wishes for a speedy recovery, including messages such as, “Get well soon girl… many prayers for you” and “Sending you lots of love and good wishes. This too shall pass… and you will be back into action soon.”

Chitrangda Singh made her acting debut in 2005 with Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and has since appeared in films including Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011), Desi Boyz (2011), I, Me Aur Main (2013), and Gaslight (2023).
