Enzo Maresca celebrated wildly, earning a red card for his touchline antics.

Manager Arne Slot lamented the narrow margins: “Small margins… these are the margins that don't fall for us at the moment. We have to work harder.” The defeat allows Arsenal to leapfrog Liverpool into first place, while Chelsea climb to sixth in the table.
