Police Crack Down on Property Crimes

In an effort to curb property-related offenses, Chachoura police, acting on the directives of Guna Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal, have successfully solved two distinct theft incidents and apprehended two suspects. This action has brought a sense of relief to local residents and marks a significant step towards controlling property crime, strengthening public trust.

Following clear instructions from the Superintendent of Police, a special team was formed under the leadership of Chachoura Station House Officer Dilip Rajoria and Binaganj Outpost In-charge Neeraj Lodhi. The primary objective of this team was to curb the rising incidents of theft in the area and apprehend the perpetrators.

Thefts Reported and Investigation Initiated

According to information, on September 2, 2026, Manjubai Rajak, a resident of Ajgari, filed a complaint regarding the theft of cash and jewelry from her home. This incident had caused concern within the local community. Prior to this, on August 27, 2026, Santosh Meena of Binaganj had also reported a theft. Considering the losses incurred by the complainants in both cases, the police initiated a thorough investigation with prompt action.

Suspects Apprehended at Binaganj Bus Stand

On September 24, a team from Chachoura police was patrolling the Binaganj bus stand area. During this time, police observed three individuals moving around under suspicious circumstances. Upon spotting the police team, all three attempted to flee. Alert police personnel immediately cordoned off the area and successfully apprehended two of the three suspects. However, one accused managed to escape from the scene.

Interrogation of the two apprehended suspects commenced, leading to significant revelations. The police recovered stolen jewelry, and the accused were identified as Uday alias Bushi, a resident of Biaora, and Sarvan Meena, a resident of Kahnkhedi. During initial questioning, both accused confessed to having committed the thefts at the homes of Manjubai Rajak and Santosh Meena, admitting their involvement in both incidents.

Criminal Records Revealed, Third Accused at Large

The police launched a search operation based on the suspects' leads to recover the stolen goods. During this search, police recovered a gold pendant and a silver anklet, which are related to the theft cases. It was also revealed that these accused are habitual offenders.

The investigation disclosed that the accused Sarvan Meena has 10 previous criminal cases registered against him, including theft and other serious offenses. Similarly, the accused Uday Sen has 3 criminal cases registered against him. The criminal history of these accused clearly indicates their expertise in carrying out theft incidents in the region.

The police are currently working to identify the third absconding accused and are exerting continuous pressure for their arrest. It is hoped that they will also be apprehended soon, which could lead to the uncovering of further criminal activities in the area. The team led by Station House Officer Dilip Rajoria and Binaganj Outpost In-charge Neeraj Lodhi displayed tireless effort and promptness in this entire operation. The disclosure of these thefts was made possible due to their shrewdness and swift action.
