The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the marks upload process for Class 12 students in specific West Asian countries.

This action follows the cancellation of board exams in these regions due to ongoing geopolitical challenges.

Strict Timeline and Guidelines

According to the official notification released on March 27, 2026, the online portal is accessible from April 8 to April 17, 2026.

Schools can access the portal through individual logins and must adhere to the board's detailed guidelines.

CBSE has warned schools to be extremely careful when entering marks. No corrections or revisions will be allowed once the data is submitted.

Alternative Assessment Policy

The alternative assessment policy was implemented after the cancellation of exams scheduled between March 16 and April 10, 2026.

This cancellation affected countries including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Under this policy, students will be evaluated based on internal assessments and performance in exams conducted before February 28, 2026, if available.

For subjects without exams, schools must submit marks from periodic evaluations like quarterly tests, half-yearly exams, and pre-boards.
