Burglars Breach Wall in Bamori, Steal Jewelry and Cash-Filled Box

Thieves Target Home in Bamori

In a significant burglary incident, unknown thieves targeted a house in the Bamori police station area of Guna district. The perpetrators gained entry by making a hole in the back wall of the house, making off with ancestral gold and silver jewelry and an iron box filled with thousands of rupees in cash.

The crime occurred at a residence on Prayagpur Road during the night. The homeowner, Teerath Singh, had gone to his farm after dinner, leaving the house relatively unattended. His father was sleeping in the veranda, and his younger brother in an adjacent room, allowing the thieves an opportunity to execute their plan.

Jewelry and Cash Box Stolen

The following morning, as the family woke up, Pushkar Sen, Teerath Singh's younger brother, discovered an empty iron box lying in front of the house. This discovery raised immediate suspicion among the family members. A subsequent inspection of the room revealed a cut in the wall behind the cooler, confirming the burglary.

The stolen items included a significant collection of valuables. Among the missing items were silver anklets, an important waist chain, a gold chain, bangles specifically made for children, a precious gold bindi, three nose pins, and ₹4,200 in cash. The thieves cleverly disposed of the empty box nearby after removing its contents.

Police Investigation Underway

Following the incident, Teerath Singh immediately reported the matter to the Bamori police station, submitting a detailed complaint. The police have registered a case against the unknown thieves under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and have launched an extensive search operation to apprehend them. The local police are treating the case with utmost seriousness and are working diligently to ensure the culprits are caught soon.
