Bollywood gathered in a heartfelt celebration as the industry came together for a special screening of Ikkis, the upcoming war drama directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film holds particular significance as it marks the final on-screen appearance of legendary actor Dharmendra, drawing both celebrities and film families to honor his enduring legacy.
Star-Studded Red Carpet
The event saw some of the biggest names in Hindi cinema, blending veteran icons with contemporary stars. Salman Khan, a longtime friend of Dharmendra, was visibly emotional as he paused to pay homage beside a poster of the late actor. Veteran actress Rekha shared a touching moment, blowing a kiss to lead actor Agastya Nanda’s poster.
The Deol family was prominently present, with Dharmendra’s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, as well as nephew Abhay Deol, attending. Sunny stood solemnly beside his father’s photograph, while Bobby reportedly became emotional after viewing his late father’s performance on the big screen.
