BJP's Sant Ravidas Kalash Yatra Spreads Message of Harmony and Social Unity

The 'Sant Ravidas Kalash Vandan Yatra', organized as part of the 'Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan' by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bhopal district to commemorate the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj, is spreading messages of social harmony and equality across various parts of the city. On Wednesday, the yatra received a grand welcome in numerous mandals of the central assembly constituency, with enthusiastic participation from BJP workers and community members.

The journey commenced from Janata Quarter in Ward 49 of Arera Mandal, where local leaders and mandal officials welcomed the Kalash Yatra. In Ward 51, Baba Nagar Basti of Shahpura Mandal, District In-charge and former MLA Shri Jaswant Singh Hada welcomed the yatra and shed light on the philosophy of Sant Ravidas. He stated that Sant Ravidas was a staunch opponent of casteism, discrimination, and social inequality, advocating for equality, humanity, and brotherhood.

Shri Hada described Sant Ravidas's dream of 'Begampura' as a vision of a society free from discrimination, injustice, or disparity. The message of harmony was widely disseminated as Ward 45 Councillor of Arera Mandal, Smt. Shikha Monu Gohil, welcomed the yatra at 7 Number BDA Market and Sanjay School, 125 Line. The yatra was greeted with showers of flowers and Kalash Vandan by BJP workers and community members at various locations, including Arera Mandal, Maharana Pratap Mandal, and Shahpura Mandal. These events aim to convey Sant Ravidas's message of harmony, equality, and social unity to the general public.

Yatra Continues Across Assembly Constituencies

Under the guidance of BJP District President Shri Ravindra Yati, this yatra is continuously touring various assembly constituencies of the Bhopal district, extensively promoting the thoughts of Sant Ravidas and the importance of social harmony. The yatra has been successfully completed in approximately four assembly constituencies of the district so far.

On September 2nd, the yatra will recommence from another assembly constituency and participate in further programs, strengthening social harmony and unity. During this yatra, prominent attendees included Shri Mukesh Rai, Shri Rajendra Gupta, Shri Bhagwat Raghuvanshi, Shri Abhishek Purohit, Councillor Shri Jaswant Singh, Councillor Shri Babulal Yadav, Councillor Shri Arvind Verma, Siddharth Sonwane, Shri Anil Sikre, District Vice President Smt. Gunjan Chouksey, District General Secretary Shri Mukesh Rai, District Media In-charge Rajendra Gupta, District Vice President Shri Ashwini Rai, Central Assembly Convener Shri Sachin Das Babba, Mandal President Shri Abhishek Purohit, Chowk Mandal President Shri Ashish Thakur, former Councillor Shri Monu Gohil, Mandal General Secretary Shri Ankit Sharma, Shri Surendra Sahu, Ward Convener Shri Mahendra Verma Bari, and Shri Varun Sahu, along with many other office bearers and workers.
