In celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 76th birthday on September 17, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing an extensive nationwide public relations campaign. This initiative will see special 'Yatras' (or special campaign teams) depart from Vadnagar in Gujarat, the Prime Minister's birthplace, and Varanasi (Kashi), his parliamentary constituency.

Campaign to Cover Key Government Achievements

According to party sources, a total of ten teams will embark on journeys from Vadnagar and Varanasi in different directions. The primary objective of these Yatras is to disseminate information about significant schemes and achievements of the central government and BJP-ruled states to the general public. The campaign is planned to run for approximately one month, covering various states and regions to establish broad public engagement.

Campaign Blends Public Relations with Service Activities

This nationwide campaign will not only focus on political outreach but will also prominently feature service activities. The Yatras will include party workers, groups of bikers, and buses. Traveling approximately 100 kilometers daily, these teams will organize local events in various cities, towns, and villages. Direct public interaction will be facilitated through street corner meetings and dialogues.

Celebrating Birthday with Public Welfare

Plans are also in place to celebrate the Prime Minister's birthday as a festival of service and public welfare. This will involve organizing blood donation camps, health check-up camps, and other public welfare programs. These activities aim to highlight Prime Minister Modi's dedication to public service and inspire citizens to actively participate in service initiatives.

Both Vadnagar, the birthplace of Prime Minister Modi, and his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi hold special significance for the party.
