'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' to Highlight Public Service and Developed India Vision

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', a month-long campaign set to run from September 17 to October 17, 2026. This initiative commemorates Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public life, aiming to spread awareness about his public service contributions and the 'Developed India' vision to every household.

During a press conference at the party office in Narsinghpur, Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia detailed the campaign's roadmap. The campaign will commence on September 17, observed as 'Seva Diwas' on the Prime Minister's birthday, featuring blood donation camps and other public welfare activities. In the evening, 'Ashirwad ka Diya' programs will be held at all booths to express gratitude towards the Prime Minister.

Key Campaign Components and Activities

  • On October 2, a state-wide 'Swachhta Abhiyan' (Cleanliness Drive) will be conducted simultaneously, symbolizing the Prime Minister's emphasis on cleanliness.
  • Under the 'Namo Seva-Ankahi Kahaniyan' initiative, street plays and cultural performances will showcase the positive impact of government schemes on beneficiaries' lives, fostering grassroots connection.
  • Through 'Aangan Milan Seva' at Anganwadi centers, interactions will be held with mothers and children, sharing vital information on nutrition and health, thereby strengthening grassroots engagement in women and child development.

Disseminating Success Stories and Public Participation

At all 11,404 Shakti Kendras across the state, the 'Seva ki Kahani' program will be implemented to collect and share success stories of citizens who have benefited from government schemes via social media. The goal is to compile at least 10 such stories from each Shakti Kendra, effectively showcasing the impact of schemes and spreading a positive message.

On October 7, a 'Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra' will be organized, including foot marches, cycle rallies, and bike rallies. This journey will culminate with a collective pledge for 'Developed India-2047'. A 'Narmada Yatra' will also be undertaken, collecting water from various points along the Narmada River to perform 'Jal Abhishek' at Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, highlighting the cultural and spiritual unity of different regions in the country.

Emphasis on Youth Encouragement and Empowerment

Under the 'Seva Setu Abhiyan', efforts will be made to ensure eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of various schemes and health camps will be organized, facilitating the delivery of government services to the public. Through 'Seva Mera Yogdan', party workers and citizens will contribute to nation-building through Shramdaan (voluntary labor).

Programs like 'Seva ke Rang Rashtra ke Sang' and 'Seva First Innovation Challenge' will be conducted to encourage innovation among youth and startups. District BJP President Ramsnehi Pathak highlighted the campaign's main objective: to make citizens active participants in building a strong and self-reliant India. Local MLAs and other senior party officials were also present.
