BSEB Class 10 Results Declared

Education Minister Sunil Kumar announced the Bihar Board Class 10 results on Sunday. The overall pass percentage reached 81.79%.

A total of 15,10,928 students appeared for the examination, with 12,35,743 successfully passing.

Top Performers Rewarded

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will award cash prizes, laptops, and other incentives to the top 139 students. These students secured positions in the top 10 merit list.

The board has doubled the prize money compared to 2025. This provides enhanced recognition and support for academic excellence.

Revised Prize Structure

The revised rewards are as follows:

• First rank holders: Rs. 2 lakh each
• Second rank holders: Rs. 1.5 lakh each
• Third rank holders: Rs. 1 lakh each
• Fourth to tenth rank holders: Rs. 20,000 each

In addition to cash rewards, all top-performing students will receive a laptop, a certificate, and a medal.

Joint Toppers Announced

Pushpanjali Kumari from Jamui and Sabreen Parveen from Vaishali jointly topped the exam. Both scored 492 marks (98.4%).

Scholarship Benefits

Students in the top 10 merit list are eligible for the "Bihar School Examination Board Chairman Dr. Rajendra Prasad Merit Scholarship" scheme.

Under this scheme, students will receive Rs. 2,000 per month for two years (Classes 11 and 12). This is provided they are enrolled and regularly studying in recognized institutions.
