Stray Animal Control Intensified in Bhopal

The Bhopal Municipal Corporation has ramped up its efforts to control stray animals roaming freely on city streets and public spaces. In a recent operation, the corporation's Gaushala Project branch apprehended 16 stray cattle from various areas across the city on Friday.

Injured Animals Receive Veterinary Care

Further demonstrating its commitment, the civic body also facilitated immediate treatment for 4 sick and injured animals by admitting them to the Shelter Animal Veterinary Hospital. This action was carried out under the directives of Municipal Commissioner Mrs. Sanskruti Jain.

Extensive Operation Covers Multiple City Zones

The corporation's 'Hanka' party also played a role, relocating 15 animals from the roads to safer locations. The comprehensive campaign covered a wide range of areas including Piplani, Gandhi Market, Khajuri Kala, Deeksha Nagar, Bagmugaliya, Katara Hills, Neelbad, Ratibad, Nehru Nagar, Mata Mandir, 06 Number Stop, Depot Chauraha, and Link Road Numbers 01, 02, and 03.

Ensuring a Cleaner and Safer City Environment

The Municipal Corporation regularly conducts such drives to keep the city clean and safe. The presence of stray animals can disrupt traffic and pose health risks by spreading diseases. The Gaushala Project branch prioritized areas with a high concentration of stray animals, ensuring that sick and injured animals were promptly taken to the veterinary hospital for necessary care and treatment.
