The Madhya Pradesh Irrigation (Water Resources) Department Regional Sports Club, Bhopal, successfully organized various sports competitions in observance of the 80th Independence Day. Under the guidance of the Sports Club's President, Shri Girish Dadkar, these events saw enthusiastic participation from departmental officers and employees, showcasing sportsmanship and zeal.

Engaging competitions in carrom, chess, and table tennis were conducted during the event. These contests provided a platform for employees to display their athletic talents and highlighted their discipline, competitive spirit, and dedication to sports.

Competition Results

  • Carrom: Shri Akhilesh Srivastava secured first place with an outstanding performance, while Shri Mohammad Sajid Khan came in second.
  • Chess: Shri Abhishek Jha emerged as the winner, with Shri Dinesh Srivastava claiming the runner-up title.
  • Table Tennis: Shri Sandeep Sakalle proved his superiority by achieving the first position, and Shri Satish Agarwal was the runner-up.

The competitions witnessed intense rivalries among the players, further enhancing the thrill of the games.

At the conclusion of the competitions, Sports Club officials honored the winners and runners-up with mementos.
