Grand Nand Mahotsav Celebrated in Bhopal

The city of Bhopal successfully hosted a grand Nand Mahotsav, organized by the Mathur Vaishya Madhyanchal Mandal. The event saw women from various mandals, referred to as 'Matri Shakti', mesmerize attendees with cultural presentations of Lord Krishna's childhood leelas.

This significant program was jointly organized under the auspices of the Purana Bhopal Branch Sabha and the Mahila Mandal, Purana Bhopal. The event aimed to bring the community together to celebrate religious and cultural heritage.

Distinguished Guests and Leadership

The chief guest for the occasion was Smt. Dr. Madhurima Dinesh Gupta, Chairperson of the Central Mahila Mandal. Shri Vinod Gupta, President of the Madhyanchal Mandal, was present as a special guest. The festival was led by Smt. Babita Ajay Mohaniya, head of the Mathur Vaishya Madhyanchal Mandal.

Women from 17 mandals participated with enthusiasm, bringing to life various episodes from Lord Krishna's leelas through their cultural performances. The entire venue was filled with an atmosphere of devotion and excitement.

During the Nand Mahotsav, winners of various competitions organized by the Madhyanchal Mahila Mandal were honored. These competitions focused on crucial social themes such as drug eradication, environmental protection, blood donation awareness, painting, and 'Our Culture-Our Heritage'. The initiative sought to raise awareness and encourage youth engagement in these vital areas.

Appreciation for Student Achievements

In addition to the awareness campaigns, meritorious female students were also awarded and felicitated for their contributions to building the future of society. This recognition highlighted the importance of education and academic excellence.

A notable highlight of the event was an exhibition organized by the 'Kala Vihan Group'. This exhibition beautifully depicted Lord Krishna's leelas through various art forms, enhancing the grandeur of the occasion.
