Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday unveiled Lokpath 2.0, a revamped digital platform designed to modernise how roads are monitored and maintained in Madhya Pradesh. The launch signals a push toward technology-led governance and quicker citizen grievance redressal.

The rollout took place at a state-level event-cum-training programme held at Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal, where the focus was on departmental innovation, digital tools, and capacity building for engineers.

What Lokpath 2.0 brings to citizens

According to officials, Lokpath 2.0 offers a comprehensive and user-friendly interface that allows residents to flag road-related problems, monitor repair status, and receive updates.

The application is designed to enable faster identification of damaged roads and time-bound corrective action, senior PWD officials said during the event.

Stronger oversight for road maintenance

The upgraded app is expected to improve internal monitoring within the Public Works Department, allowing senior officers to track project progress and maintenance quality in real time.

Engineers attending the programme were briefed on using digital dashboards and data-driven tools to enhance transparency and accountability in infrastructure management.
