The police have initiated an investigation into possible negligence at the facility. The probe focuses on the alleged absence of adequate safety arrangements and trained staff.
Details of the Incident
Kunal Mahawar, a resident of Barkhedi in Jahangirabad, attended the party with three friends on Friday afternoon.
The group entered the pool around 4 pm, joining approximately 10 to 15 other youths. At some point, Kunal went missing.
His friends initially assumed he had left the pool area. After searching, they discovered him submerged in the water.
He was rushed to a nearby private hospital but was declared dead. The body was handed over to his family on Saturday after a post-mortem examination.

Preliminary investigation indicates the pool was between 10 to 15 feet deep. Authorities are assessing whether the farmhouse had proper safety measures.
Reports suggest there were no lifeguards or trained personnel present, despite a large number of visitors using the pool.

"A case of unnatural death has been registered. We are awaiting the post-mortem report and it is only after we get the report that the actual cause of death will be clear and the further course of action will be decided.
