First Phase of 'Srijan Samvad Yojana' Concludes in Bhind

The first phase of the Madhya Pradesh Police's 'Srijan Samvad Yojana' successfully concluded in the Bhind district on Thursday. This initiative aims to provide young people with insights into police procedures and law and order management.

The final batch of 85 students from 11th and 12th grades at the government Sandipani Higher Secondary School No. 2, selected at the district headquarters level, visited the Dehat Kotwali police station. The program was conducted under the guidance of Bhind Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma and Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Patel, with Nodal Officer Ajay Panwar (DSP AJAK, Bhind) overseeing the visit.

Students were transported to the police station by police bus. Present at the station were school lecturers and TOTs Dinesh Singh Bhadauria, Dharmendra Singh Bhadauria, and program coordinator Head Constable Ramkumar Pandey, along with other staff members.

Understanding Police Operations and Structure

During the station tour, Police TOT Sub-Inspector Pooja Daure, Sub-Inspector Vijay Shivhare, and Head Constable Ramkumar Pandey familiarized the students with the functioning and structure of the police department. They clarified the roles, ranks, recruitment processes, uniforms, badges, stars, and distinctions between various officers, from Constable to Superintendent of Police.

Students were informed about various police station functions, including reception duties, the FIR writing process, investigation, evidence collection, statement recording methods, the beat system, patrolling, character verification, and warrant execution.

Additionally, they were given an overview of the Women's Energy Desk, Child Protection Cell, CCTNS Computer Room, Malkhana (Storeroom), Armoury, Record Branch, and the Holding Cell.

Emphasis on Modern Technology and Safety

The visit included an explanation of the Dial-112 (FRB) rapid response system, including how incidents are received and the response procedures. Students were also made aware of the Cyber Cell, internet safety, and the importance of smart policing.

This session focused on educating the youth about utilizing modern technology while also fostering awareness regarding safety measures.

Responsible Citizenship and Social Media Vigilance

Addressing the students, school TOTs and lecturers Dinesh Singh Bhadauria and Dharmendra Singh Bhadauria stated that the core objective of this scheme, a collaboration between Madhya Pradesh Police, the School Education Department, and UNFPA's technical support, is to promote legal awareness, responsible citizenship, safety consciousness, and access to justice among youth.

They advised students to exercise caution while using the internet and social media and to adhere to legal provisions, thereby enabling them to become responsible citizens.

Next Phase of the Scheme

Approximately 75% of students from Sandipani School participated in the first phase of the scheme, which included weekly dialogues and police station visits. This phase successfully concluded on September 3, 2026.

The second phase of the 'Srijan Samvad Yojana' is scheduled to run from September 15 to October 30, 2026, across various tehsils and sub-divisions of the district, aiming to engage a larger number of young people.

At the conclusion of the program, all students were safely escorted back to the school premises by police vehicles. The police administration expressed its gratitude to the Principal of Sandipani School, P.S. Chauhan, the lecturers, and the supporting staff.
