Bhind: Youth Rescued from Tracks 50 Meters Before Approaching Train, Police Show Promptness
Two courageous constables in Bhind averted a major train accident by rescuing a youth from railway tracks just 50 meters before an oncoming train.

Brave Constables Avert Major Rail Disaster
Two brave constables of the Bhind police averted a major rail accident late Tuesday night. A youth, who had laid down on the railway tracks following a family dispute over alcohol consumption, was pulled to safety by the police officers from a distance of just 50 meters from an approaching train, without regard for their own safety.
The promptness and bravery of the police are being widely praised in the region. The incident occurred around 9 PM on August 19th, when a woman resident of Mishra ka Pura (Ater Road, Bhind) informed Dial-112 that her husband had gone towards the railway tracks with the intention of committing suicide after an argument over drinking.
Swift Action and Location Tracking
Acting immediately on this sensitive information, the Bhind control room alerted the Dehat Police Station in-charge, Inspector Shivpratap Singh Rajawat. Considering the seriousness of the information, the Station In-charge immediately sought assistance from the Cyber Cell, Bhind.
The Cyber Cell tracked the location of the youth's mobile number. Based on this information, constables Zaheer Mohammad and Manishdev Mishra, deployed in the Cheetah Mobile, were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Race Against Time
The constables began searching for the youth in the vicinity of the given location. During their search, mere seconds before certain death, the constables heard the sound of an approaching train's light and horn. Realizing the danger, both constables ran rapidly towards the tracks.
At a distance of approximately 200 meters, they found the youth lying on the railway track. When the police officers asked him to move, he firmly held onto the track. The train was rapidly approaching, but the constables, putting their own safety at risk, pulled the youth with all their might to a safe spot away from the tracks.
The entire rescue operation was completed just 50 meters before the train reached the location.
First Aid and Handover to Family
During the rescue, the youth sustained an injury to his hand, which was bleeding. The constables, with their quick thinking, immediately tied a cloth around the youth's hand to try and stop the bleeding.
They then safely escorted the youth to his home. The police reached the spot, calmed the dispute between the husband and wife, and handed over the youth to the care of his wife.
Key Contributors to the Rescue
The roles of Station In-charge Inspector Shivpratap Singh Rajawat, Constable Zaheer Mohammad, Constable Manishdev Mishra, and the Cyber Cell, Bhind, were extremely significant in this entire life-saving effort.
