Bhind to Host Grand Celebrations for Sardar Patel Jayanti and MP Foundation Day

Extensive Preparations Underway

Bhind district is gearing up for grand events to mark the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31 and the 71st Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh on November 1. A high-level meeting, chaired by Collector Pawan Kumar Jain, was held at the Collectorate auditorium to discuss these upcoming celebrations and issue essential directives to the concerned officials.

The meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma, District Panchayat CEO Veersingh Chauhan, Additional Collector Rajan B Nadia, and other senior officials. The preparations aim to ensure a fitting tribute to both national figures and the state's significant milestone.

'Run for Unity' and Educational Initiatives

A 'Run for Unity' will be organized on the occasion of Sardar Patel Jayanti. Collector Jain instructed the Municipal Council Chief Officer to ensure cleanliness along the designated route for the run. He also directed the timely completion of road repairs and chalk marking.

The Education Department has been tasked with organizing special programs in schools and colleges, focusing on the life of Sardar Patel and his contributions to nation-building. These events are intended to inspire students and highlight the importance of national integration.

Cultural Evening and Employee Recognition Planned for Foundation Day

The 71st Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh on November 1 will commence with the singing of the national anthem and the Madhya Pradesh anthem in the morning. The evening will feature cultural performances by local artists and students.

All government buildings will be adorned with special lighting arrangements. Collector Jain urged officials to respectfully invite public representatives and distinguished citizens to the events. A list of government employees who have performed excellently throughout the year will be prepared for recognition during the Foundation Day ceremony.

Environmental Commitment and Public Participation Emphasized

In addition to the main celebrations, a large-scale tree plantation drive will be conducted across the district, demonstrating a commitment to environmental conservation. Collector Jain stressed that the success of these events hinges on the active participation of the public and urged everyone to collaborate with enthusiasm and unity.
