Bhind Organizes 'Navankur Sakhi Hariyali Kalash Yatra' to Promote Tree Plantation

Environmental Awareness Drive in Bhind Village

Following directives from the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad, the village of Nayagaon in Bhind district hosted the 'Navankur Sakhi Hariyali Kalash Yatra'. The objective of this procession was to educate villagers on environmental conservation, tree planting, water conservation, and the creation of clean, green villages.

The event, organized by the Navankur institution, Chaudhary Roop Narayan Dubey Samaj Kalyan Samiti, saw enthusiastic participation from local women. Women from various areas including Nayagaon, Ojha, Tehengur, Dwar, Kharika, Motipura, and Lahrauli actively joined the yatra.

Key Dignitaries and Participants

The chief guest for the occasion was District Coordinator Shivpratap Singh Bhadauria. The program was moderated by Navankur institution's Coordinator Sunil Dubey, with a vote of thanks delivered by Ankit Dubey. During the event, 'Navankur Sakhi' volunteers were also provided with seeds for planting.

Emphasis on Collective Environmental Responsibility

Addressing the gathering, Government PM Shri Principal Diwan Singh Sengar stated that environmental protection is a shared responsibility of every segment of society, not just individuals. He specifically lauded the participation of women, noting that their contributions transform such campaigns into public movements.

The 'Navankur Sakhi Hariyali Kalash Yatra' aimed to encourage villagers to plant more trees, care for them, and commit to environmental conservation. The spirited involvement of women played a crucial role in making the event successful and impactful.

Call for Tree Plantation in Every Home

In their addresses, Professor Ajit Singh Kushwaha, Vakil Singh, Ram Lakhan Sen, and Pradeep Singh Rajawat (Mandala President) conveyed the message of planting a tree in every household. Additionally, Anushka Rajawat from the Prasphutan Samitis advised the women and girls to plant and protect trees.

Sunil Dubey remarked that Navankur Sakhi will establish coordination with the public to foster greenery, thereby achieving harmony with nature. Office bearers of various Prasphutan Samitis, activists, and respected villagers were also present at the event.
