Community Outreach Event Held at Umri Health Centre

The 'Seva Sankalp Yatra' initiative saw a significant event organized at the Umri Community Health Centre in the Bhind district on September 23, 2026. The program included a blood donation camp and a tree plantation drive, aiming to raise awareness about social service and ensure blood availability for those in need.

MLA Encourages Participation in Social Causes

Bhind MLA, Narendra Singh Kushwah, attended the event as the chief guest, encouraging blood donors and highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. He planted saplings within the community health centre premises during the occasion.

“Blood donation is an invaluable means of saving the life of any needy person,” stated MLA Kushwah. He urged all healthy citizens to come forward and participate in this noble act of public service, emphasizing the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan's' goal of reaching the most disadvantaged individuals in society.

Kushwah further explained that social activities like blood donation and tree planting bring about positive changes in society. He believes these actions foster a sense of community responsibility and contribute to overall well-being.

The Health Department played a crucial role in this social initiative. Present at the event were Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. J.S. Yadav, District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO) Dr. D.K. Sharma, and Medical Officer In-charge (BMO) of the Community Health Centre, Dr. Tapas Sharma.

The event was emceed by Raghavendra Singh.
