'Seva Setu' Campaign Launched in Bhind
The Municipal Council of Bhind has initiated a special campaign named 'Seva Setu' (Service Bridge) with the objective of quickly resolving common citizens' issues and ensuring direct delivery of government schemes. The core aim of this initiative is to ensure good governance, transparency, and accountability, thereby fostering citizens' trust in the administration.
The launch event was graced by several senior administrative officials and council representatives, including regional MP Sandhya Rai, Collector Kirodi Lal Meena, District Panchayat CEO Veersingh Chauhan, एसडीएम Mahendra Singh Saunjanya, and Municipal Council President and CMO Virendra Chakravarti.
Swift Resolution of Public Grievances
Under the 'Seva Setu' campaign, administrative officials will now personally visit various wards across the city to listen to citizens' problems and provide solutions. This direct engagement aims to streamline the grievance redressal process.
Regional MP Sandhya Rai stated that the fundamental principle of the central and state governments is good governance and 'Antyodaya,' which means ensuring that benefits of schemes reach the last person in line without any hassle. She described this campaign as a significant step in this direction.
Collector Kirodi Lal Meena emphasized that transparent and swift resolution of public issues is the government's highest priority. He instructed officials to work with sensitivity and warned that any form of negligence would not be tolerated.
District Panchayat CEO Veersingh Chauhan described the campaign as a powerful medium for bridging the gap between the public and the administration, fostering direct communication.
Relief from Visiting Government Offices
Municipal Council CMO Virendra Chakravarti informed that teams are organizing camps in various wards to provide 'on-the-spot' solutions. Special counters have been set up for issues related to basic amenities such as sanitation, water supply, street lights, mutation of property records, pensions, and ration cards.
The most significant benefit of this initiative will be that citizens will no longer have to make rounds of government offices for their minor and major administrative tasks. The entire administrative machinery will be dedicated to listening to public problems at their doorstep and ensuring their immediate resolution. This campaign will serve as an accessible, transparent, and responsive system for the residents of Bhind.
