Preparations Culminate in Grand Rehearsal
Bhind is putting the final touches on its Independence Day celebrations, with a grand rehearsal held on Thursday at the Police Line Ground. Participants were in full uniform, showcasing the enthusiasm and meticulous planning for the August 15th event.
Security Forces and Students Showcase Discipline
The rehearsal saw enthusiastic participation from security forces, police personnel, NCC cadets, Scout-Guides, Shaurya Dal, and school students. District Collector Kirodilal Meena, as the chief guest, unfurled the flag and inspected the parade, taking the salute. In the presence of Superintendent of Police Suraj Verma, the participants demonstrated discipline and spirit in line with the planned arrangements, highlighting the grandeur anticipated for Independence Day.
Confluence of Security Forces and Cultural Troupes
The rehearsal featured a diverse array of participants, including SAF, district police (male and female contingents), Home Guards, NCC Senior Boys & Girls, Scouts-Guides, and the Shaurya Dal. The police band filled the air with patriotic tunes, immersing the atmosphere in nationalistic fervor as all contingents marched with disciplined precision.
In addition to the parade, school students practiced their cultural performances for Independence Day. These presentations, reflecting patriotism, national unity, and the spirit of the freedom struggle, offered a glimpse of the event's magnificence.
Officials Provide Necessary Directives
District Collector Kirodilal Meena closely observed the various arrangements during the rehearsal. He provided essential directives to the concerned officials to ensure the Independence Day ceremony is conducted in a dignified, well-organized, and disciplined manner. Superintendent of Police Suraj Verma also inspected the parade and security arrangements, assessing the readiness for the event.
Key officials present at this significant exercise included District Panchayat CEO Veer Singh Chauhan, Additional Collector L.K. Pandey, district officials from various departments, police officers, security personnel, and other dignitaries. The district administration is ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place to make the Independence Day celebrations a success.
