Preparations for Census 2027 Intensify in Bhind

Administrative preparations for the successful completion of the second phase of the upcoming Census 2027 in Bhind district, also known as the population count, have been expedited. District Census Officer and Additional Collector Rajan B. Nadia has issued directives to all heads of departments and office chiefs in the district to immediately provide a detailed list of their subordinate officers and employees.

This list is to be submitted in hardcopy to the District Planning and Statistics Office, located on the Collectorate premises in Bhind. The administration has clarified that details of employees must also be mandatorily sent via official email IDs. Withholding any employee's information will be considered a violation of rules and could have serious consequences.

Specific Details Required for Census Staff

When preparing the list of personnel involved in census work, certain specific points need to be taken into account. The instructions issued by the Additional Collector clarify that for any officer or employee due to retire on March 31, 2027, their name must be accompanied by a special mention in the 'Remarks' column. Similarly, the current status of employees who are under suspension, are differently-abled, or are on long-term leave must also be clearly mentioned in the details.

Warning Issued Against Negligence

The administration has issued a stern warning to officials found to be negligent in this crucial task. The Additional Collector has made it clear that if information is not submitted within the stipulated deadline or if the information is found to be incomplete, disciplinary action will be proposed against the concerned officials under the provisions of the Census Act. They have instructed all departmental heads to complete this data collection process with utmost seriousness to ensure the census work is completed on time and in an organized manner. This exercise is considered a significant step towards outlining the census work in the district.
