Collector Warns of Action Over Laxity in Resolving CM Helpline Complaints
Bhind, August 17, 2026: District Collector of Bhind, Kirodilal Meena, has issued a strict warning to concerned officials regarding the delayed resolution of complaints registered on the CM Helpline and under the Public Service Guarantee Act. He emphasized that the primary focus of the 'Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Abhiyan' is the effective redressal of these grievances, and any negligence will not be tolerated.
Presiding over a time-bound meeting, Collector Meena specifically highlighted complaints that have been pending for over 50 days and those falling under the current grading month. He stated that departments must work diligently to ensure these complaints are closed satisfactorily, thereby improving the district's overall ranking.
Instructions were given to issue letters to the nodal secretaries of relevant departments to expedite necessary budget allocations, permissions, or address technical issues required for resolving these complaints. The resolution of establishment-related complaints was also prioritized.
Action Against Negligence in Sensitive Cases
The Collector underscored that negligence in resolving complaints related to sensitive issues such as Sabal Anugraha, Antyesti Sahayata (funeral assistance), scholarships, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, and atrocities prevention will be taken very seriously. He clarified that any error or delay in the online selection process for these matters could lead to disciplinary action against the responsible officer. Therefore, all pending CM Helpline complaints, including these sensitive ones, must be resolved with utmost seriousness.
Special Focus on Improving Educational Institutions
The meeting also paid particular attention to the condition of educational institutions. The Collector directed that if student attendance in any government school falls below the standards set by the government, the salaries of the concerned principals will be cut. He also instructed the arrangement for verifying attendance of students from classes 9 to 12 through photographs at the cluster level.
Furthermore, orders were issued to propose action against heads of institutions for poor board results in the previous academic session. Other significant instructions included directing district officials to examine unclaimed deposits in banks and repatriate funds if not required, and to issue work division orders for the Guru रविदास Samrasta Abhiyan commencing August 18.
Other crucial issues reviewed during the meeting included the 'Dastak Abhiyan' (door-to-door campaign), CM Monitor, time-bound action sheets, court cases, and pending electricity bill payments.
